I just love this little boy, he is genuinely just a good boy! And he has a sense of humor that rival's his goofy older brothers. He never gets into any of my stuff and the couple times that he has I just tell him no and he never touches it again. He's a boy that loves to play in dirt and get as dirty as he possibly can. And EVERY TIME I take a picture of him he tries to do as many goofy faces as he can, then he has to see the preview of it before I can take another. He's got a super sweet side that he doesn't show to just anybody & man this boy loves to sing! He falls asleep in his chair while in Sunbeams at church at least a couple times a month. He's just my Corbin.... Did I mention that I love this little man!

She's A 2-Wheeling Woman
So Brinley learned how to ride on 2 wheels without any help from us parental units. Jentry took off her training wheels a couple weeks ago and Parker helped push her off & she hasn't looked back since. We were both surprised to see her riding without training wheels because she really has never been much of a bike rider. Even last year she didn't log that much time on a bike. But she's been riding like this for about a week and a half now. I figured I had better post it before I forget. She's pretty proud of herself, & I think it's time to buy her a pink bike that belongs to just her.

La' Chenille Bib
And here is a bib that I threw together a couple nights ago. I still need to attach some Velcro but that's no biggie. It turned out alright for not having used a pattern, it could be cuter (it certainly was in my head) but it came out more plain than I anticipated . Maybe with more practice I will get better.

Alrighty...
So we are just going to wait and see how she does over the weekend. We never did go to the Pediatrician. But they said if she seems worse by Monday to bring her in (well duh) I never did get a real answer, so this is the best that I've got. She does have her lovely cough back again, and she is also sounding congested.
I think I have a defective baby.

My Baby Is Broken!
EDITED: Okay so it's not only when she cries, she just woke up from her nap HAPPY and was just talking to herself and she's got RED all over her face.. Off I go to call her pediatrician. 2nd EDIT: OKAY I AM SUCH A DORK!!! This is my official BAD MOMMY MOMENT, Addison is on Amoxicillin (yes i forget to mention) and maybe she is having an allergic reaction to the RX. Sorry about not mentioning details like that. I had NO sleep last night and I think it's starting to show. Well, there's the nurse ringing my phone gotta go.
This RED THING started yesterday afternoon and it only happens to her when she cries. At first I thought it was the detergent in my shirt or maybe on her blanket. Nope! She was crying on the floor and when I went to get her, her face was covered in red and on the red parts there are little raised bumps that are kinda white. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE! It goes away after 45 minutes or so but then re-appears when she cries. Oh and it is only on her face and head. Different spots every time and the red is more red than the pictures are showing. I am so confused! Has anyone out there had this happen to their little one??? Inquiring minds want to know. She's kinda freaking me out! Side note: She has only had breast milk or formula.....
EDIT #2 It's official Addison is Allergic to Amoxicillin!

Parker and My Pickles & Ice Cream Quilt Top
Just thought I would post Parker's Baptism announcements. I figured since I sent them out earlier this week I could post it on my blog. He's pretty excited and so are we.
And TA DA! I finished the Pickles & Ice Cream quilt top, now I need to sandwich it all together and bind it. I think it turned out really cute. I think I love it, I just didn't love all the squares. Let's just say I will never do this pattern again. But I loved the end result. It's not perfect but I don't think Addison will mind.

Another Year & None The Wiser
Today is just a reminder that I am yet another year older, and as my title say's none the wiser. A couple of my kids are just peachy today, I wish they weren't so crabby. I need to be spring cleaning, but have no desire to do ANYTHING. Today I just feel blah! Well off I go to force myself to clean the toilet. Wish me luck.

My Stolen Goods
Well, really I paid for them. Mc Glasson's is a Hallmark store here/soon to be was in our town that is going out of business/retiring, and I got all of this CUTE Halloween stuff for 75% off. I got over $100.00 worth of stuff for 30.00 bucks, I felt like I was stealing from them because it was so cheap. I LOVE IT ALL and the best part for me is it's cute Halloween not scary Halloween stuff.
I think I like Halloween in April, oh and a little Christmas.

How Many Of Me-
I saw this on my friend Michelle's blog and thought I would give it a whirl. I found it interesting that there are so few people out there that share the same first and last name as me and my family. I always said when I had kids that they would have different names and I guess I did a pretty good job as Parker is the only one of my 5 that share the same first and last name with only 5 other people in the USA.
here is our family #'s

It's Casey At The Bat!
Well actually it's Parker, I now am a Baseball mom. We give the boys a choice of which sport they want to play and Parker chose BB, (this is the first time he has played on a team much less played the sport) so that means we will only have one in soccer this summer which is fine by me. He did pretty good, this was his first practice and he hit a home run for himself while they were practicing batting. Which I don't think would be too hard as they are only a bunch of little kids. But I was proud of him none the less. He made me laugh when I overheard him talking to Brinley about BB. He said I like it better than soccer because you don't have to run as much and it's not as hot. So I think he has found his new calling.I managed to finish the 2 baptism announcements yesterday, & today I need to get Parker's stuffed in envelopes and mailed out. I also managed to get my quilt top all put together with sashings and all, but I'm not in love with it as much as I thought I would be. I pictured it so much differently in my head. Maybe I should have gone with the brown pansy fabric for my sashings instead of the blue. I give!

And the pickles & ice cream one is still in the works. Have I mentioned that I hate this quilt. It's driving me mad with all it's little squares going this way and that.
Stupid squares....

Busy, Busy, Busy!
I'm here, I've just been super busy getting Parker's Baptism announcements ready (his birthday is next month) and I'm also helping my friend Maria with her son Ethan's Baptism announcement as well. And I'm trying to make a chenille bib for Addison as she needs something stylish to wear while eating. I promise to post a picture when I get it done.
And I am also still quilting. I need to put together the one from the quilt class and I am also working on the Pickles and Ice cream one as well. I have way to many irons in the fire. Oh I almost forgot, I also have 2 no 3 friends that want blog help. Hopefully I can get it all done and keep my house semi-clean in the process. Wish me luck!
Here's my progress so far on the Pickles and Ice Cream. I am so stupid for trying to make this quilt. It only has like 5 thousand little squares. Never again. But I'll finish the thing. In this picture I still have to attach the second row to the first. Sigh. So much to do, so little time.

She Seriously Needs To SLOW DOWN!
Good golly Miss Molly she's starting to crawl. I was in the living room with her tonight and she saw one of her toys and well, off she went. I'm not ready for this at all. Just a week ago I was posting about her getting teeth and now crawling! Why is she is such a hurry to grow up? Looks like the boys will no longer be playing with their LEGO'S in the living room. Crazy little 5 1/2 month old girl!

Random Pictures Of The Week
Corbin saying his prayers It's not much but at least I posted SOMETHING today. Tonight the kids have their School Carnival, should be a good time for all. I just hope we don't come home with some new illness. The school is always packed to the gills with people.
Many people + small space=Nothing good

And yes I know I post more pictures of Addison. But she's the only one that can't go anywhere, so she gets the camera in her face whether she likes it or not.

The Last One!
We had are quilt class last night and this is the block we made. I really like the look of this block and it was pretty easy to put together. Now I have to throw on some sashings and sew the top together. I'm excited to see it all in one piece. And this next picture is a quilt that I am making right now. It's called Pickles & Ice Cream, I fell in love with it while I was pregnant with Addison (the name of the quilt is fitting don't you think?) and I am basically making it to see if I can do it. Does that make any sense? I am trying to keep the colors the same as the picture, I hope it turns out. I'll keep you posted. And I am posting these pictures only because I had to capture the brief fleeting moment that just goes to show me that my kiddies can get along. And I thought it captures their personalities pretty darn well. I tried to get Jentry in the photo but he would have nothing to do with it. He's already like those boys at a youth dance you know, the wall watchers....

{ Chicken Tortellini Soup Recipe }
A friend of mine has been making this Chicken Tortellini soup for some time now and I bought all the ingredients a while ago and I decided that today was the day to make it for my family.
All I can say is YUM-O!
This soup was super easy and very tasty. My kids all loved it. I used the refrigerated Buitoni Cheese Tortellini (sooo tasty) but I did add just a little bit extra chicken soup base & some salt and pepper.
Your taste buds will let you know when to stop adding to the pot.
Try it for your family, you'll like it. Gees,
I sound like a freaking commercial..
Chicken Tortellini Soup
9 oz bag frozen broccoli
1- 10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
2 cups cubed chicken breast (about 3-4 breasts)
9 oz bag frozen sliced carrots
12 oz package cheese tortellini - fresh, frozen or dry
9 cups chicken broth
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
In a large pot combine: cream of chicken soup, chicken, carrots, chicken broth, onion, basil, oregano. Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Bring to boil and add tortellini and simmer for 10 minutes. Add broccoli and simmer an additional 10-15 minutes or until broccoli is tender and chicken is cooked through.
Serve garnished with grated parmesan cheese.
makes 10 1 1/2 cup servings.
Now to figure out what's for dinner tomorrow night? :)

{ Teeth, Teeth & More Teeth! & Our Artist! }
They say when it rains, it pours & it's raining teeth around here. Brinley lost another tooth tonight and the other tooth right next to it is wiggling as well.
Addison is getting her 2nd tooth I could see it this afternoon and of course following our kids tradition she is doing it 2 at a time. I have to laugh because I think it's funny both my girl are either losing or getting teeth. Brinley's are both on top & are falling out and Addison's are on the bottom & coming in.

Like I said It's raining teeth!
While listening to Conference this afternoon which by the way was AWESOME! There were so many great talks. Anyway Jentry aka. our Resident Master Artist worked on his conference packet & here is his drawing of our new Prophet Thomas S. Monson. We think he did a pretty good job.
