So Brinley learned how to ride on 2 wheels without any help from us parental units. Jentry took off her training wheels a couple weeks ago and Parker helped push her off & she hasn't looked back since. We were both surprised to see her riding without training wheels because she really has never been much of a bike rider. Even last year she didn't log that much time on a bike. But she's been riding like this for about a week and a half now. I figured I had better post it before I forget. She's pretty proud of herself, & I think it's time to buy her a pink bike that belongs to just her.
Great Job Brinley! It's perfect to have those older brothers to help the process along isn't it!!! I have all of these pics of us pushing Spencer when he was learning and with Grace it was sink or swim:) I can't believe how big they are getting though!!!
How awesome! Kinda funny-I have a little girl who just did the same thing yesterday! She just took off and has not ever looked back! Responding to ur comment on my blog-you have a cricut too and you don't use it? oh come on, don't tell me that. How come! I just ordered a bunch of vinyl from a friend and I am itching to craft with that tonight. Did you ever cut the vinyl, or did you just do paper? I am still learning-don't really know anything-so, if you can give any hints-let me know. If i just assumed you have one-from the little info on your post-i now, feel espescially stupid :)
I always loved it when my kids learned to ride a bike. I have not ever forgotten my first moment on the "only" bike we had that was a banana seat. Ya, I know you know what I am talking about.
I just realized that you know 2 angie's last comment about the banana seat was from your sister-in-law. I am going to have to change "somehow" my user name.
Yee-haw! It's always nice to have an older brother to help out with these things. My brother was always taking apart the bikes - haha. Morgan has been begging me to take her training wheels off but I am just not ready. How can we keep them younger longer? First it's training wheels and then it's the keys to the car.
Congrats Brinley Paige!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh she looks so grown up in that first picture!
♡ That's AWESOME! What the heck is my excuse! I still can't get Emma to figure it out! Maybe I need Parker to come give EMma a big old SHOVE!!!

ReplyDeleteWay to go, Brinley! What a big girl!
What a big girl! I cannot believe she did it all on her own. She certainly deserves a pink bike indeed.
ReplyDeleteI, too, loved your country setting!
How exciting!
