EDITED TO ADD: I couldn't handle it so I made my own ribbon out of fabric. Makes that little red pumpkin look soooo much better. :) 1 down 4 to go. Oh and I'm thinking of adding to my giveaway..... I've made 3 small version's of these cuties to give away to a second person.... What do ya think, Yes? No?
Well I've been busy trying to get a few things done. I made these pumpkins last night and love how they turned out thanks to Holly & her easy tutorial. Now I need a craft warehouse so I can get so me beautiful ribbon & other embellishments to decorate these babies up, but for now they will have to survive with my sad stash o' ribbon that I stole from my scrapbook supplies. So all of you out there that have access to CRAFT STORES within a 10 mile radius be grateful you have them, I wish I did. Darn small town. :(
Yesterday I also put some fabric in my TV hutch (finally. It's NOT what I wanted but again, my not getting to buy fabric while in Tri-Cities led me to some boring brown striped ticking that will have to do until I find the fabric that slaps me in the face & says she's the one. Sorry this pic is terrible.
Anyway, I should get some lunch started for the kiddies. School starts here on the 3rd. I am so looking forward to some quiet and a lower food bill. :) I am also in the works of getting some teacher gifts ready for the 1st day of school.

Sidenote: All fabric's for the pumpkins are from Wal-Mart. I wish they had more detailed ones but you gotta work with what you have available to you at the moment. :)
Post the gifts now! ;-) My kids start on the 25th and I hadn't even though about gifts for the teachers. I'm a bit of a slacker in that department.

ReplyDeleteThe anticipation of fall seems to be in the air. I've been working on pumpkins too.I've never mastered the sewing machine. I'm envious of your sewn fall pumpkins. Hot glue is what I do and contrary to the rumor my husband spread,I don't hem his pant with hot glue. Okay,so I've been tempted a few times ;0
