{ Recipe Sunday- Meat Loaf }

I got this recipe from my friend Shauna a few years back and it quickly became a family favorite. The kids ALWAYS go back for seconds.
It's quick, easy & very tasty. It's so tasty my oldest daughter always asks for this meal for her birthday dinner.
I do recommend!

Meat Loaf
1 lb. Hamburger (I use low fat)
1 tsp. Salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup instant oats
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded cheese

Mix together all main ingredients and make into small loaves should make about 6 then pour topping mixture over loaves and bake for 1 hour at 350. YUMMY

Topping:
1 1/2 Tbsp mustard
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Sorry about the lopsided plate, I forgot to put the rolls we had with this meal on the plate. I'm no Martha. Oh and yes the pictures show that I made this recipe a little larger than usual. I wanted leftovers for later.

  17. I love meatloaf and so does my hubby-my kids not so much. I don't know what the heck is wrong with them?
I love to cook them in muffin tins. Maybe you already do this-but it's super easy, it cooks faster and they already are in serving sizes-perfect for little fingers! Plus, they are great for leftovers! Maybe some fantastic person already said this, and I am just repeating, but hey, I gave you something to read-right?

  34. I found your link from Lori's site - morning glories and moonflowers - and can't wait to make this recipe. It looks delicious and had the key word I really like -- {EASY}!!!

I love the photo of your family where your little one won't look at the camera. The caption that goes with it is too funny. They are super cute, smiling or not.

Can't wait to check out the rest of your site.
